Midlands Live Ticket Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all tickets purchased for Midlands Live events through our website or authorised payment process.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our general Terms and Conditions.

1. General Policy

All ticket sales are final. Tickets purchased for Midlands Live events are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where we expressly state otherwise.

Midlands Live events are leisure services supplied for a specific date or period and are therefore exempt from standard cancellation rights.

2. No Refunds for Change of Mind or Non-Attendance

Refunds will not be given in the following circumstances:

  • You can no longer attend
  • You have changed your mind
  • You booked the wrong ticket in error
  • You failed to read the event details before purchase
  • You are unable to attend due to personal circumstances, travel issues, illness, or work commitments
  • You arrive late or are refused entry due to failure to comply with event rules

This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Ticket Transfers

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend.

To request a transfer, please contact us at livemidlands@gmail.com with your booking details.

The original purchaser is responsible for ensuring transfer details are correct.

4. Event Cancellation by Midlands Live

If an event is cancelled and not rearranged, we will offer either:

  • A full refund of the ticket price, or
  • An option to transfer to another event where applicable

Refunds are limited to the ticket price paid. We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel or accommodation.

5. Event Postponement or Rearrangement

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date.

If you cannot attend the new date, we may offer:

  • Ticket transfer
  • Event credit
  • A refund where appropriate

6. Changes to Event Content

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event, including schedule, format, hosts, or guest appearances.

Such changes do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund where the event still proceeds.

7. Refused Entry or Removal

No refund will be issued if entry is refused or you are removed due to:

  • Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour
  • Failure to follow venue rules or staff instructions
  • Use of invalid or unauthorised tickets
  • Behaviour affected by alcohol or drugs

8. Payments

All payments are processed securely via PayPal Business.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you believe a payment has been made in error, please contact us first at livemidlands@gmail.com.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in ticket cancellation while the matter is investigated.
